Welcome to the Faculty Recruitment Application System

The Sloan-Kettering Institute seeks innovative, collaborative and pioneering reseachers to join its faculty.

Searches are now underway in the following programs, centers, and core facilities:

Computational Biology

Investigators at the Sloan-Kettering Institute (SKI) are dedicated to understanding the biology of cancer and translating basic discoveries into clinical treatments. Each SKI investigator has an academic home in one of eight research programs and is supported by a robust research infrastructure. Access to more than 35 state-of-the art core facilities, the ability to mentor trainees from preeminent graduate programs, and participation in numerous venues for collaborative interaction with research and clinical faculty are some of the advantages of the SKI research environment. SKI also offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, and provides generous start up funds to new faculty.

Getting Started

To begin the application process you must first register for an account. Once your registration request has been received, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to activate your account. Once you have activated your account, you will be able to log in to the system and begin the application process.

Application Requirements

All applicants will need to submit the following materials in PDF format.

  • Curriculum vitae and bibliography
  • Research or Career Statement that includes either of the following:
    • For tenure-track positions: Significant research accomplishments and a description of future research plans (maximum of 7 pages)
    • For laboratory-track positions: Research and/or work accomplishments and career statement and objectives (maximum of 7 pages)
  • Reprints of relevant publications (maximum of 5)
  • Contact information for at least three references (junior applicants only*). Note: Your referees will be contacted for letters immediately after you submit your application, so you are encouraged to submit your application as soon as possible.

* Applicants who hold tenure-track or tenured faculty positions will not be required to provide reference letters at this time.

Your application will be considered complete once we have received the completed application form, the required application materials, and three letters of reference (if applicable).

Applications may be accepted for a brief period after the application deadline, however, the review process will initiate very shortly thereafter, so it is advisable that you submit your application as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that applications submitted after the stated search deadline will be reviewed in a timely fashion.

Each referee will be asked to submit a letter of reference for applicants within two weeks of the submission of your application. Please encourage your referees to comply with this timetable.
